Global Society & Resilience
Shaping a cooperative and sustainable global future through strategic foresight, institutional innovation, and responsible governance
GSI’s work in global society and resilience centers on anticipating long-term global challenges and translating them into structured, evidence-based policy development. The focus lies on institutional reformation that enhances stability, transparency, and democratic accountability while strengthening international cooperation.
These initiatives involve developing legislative approaches that harmonize national frameworks with emerging global standards, ensuring that policy architectures remain responsive, inclusive, and future-ready.
GSI engages continuously with international organizations, including those within the UN system and multistakeholder forums such as the World Economic Forum, to foster dialogue, coordination, and shared responsibility. Through this engagement, GSI contributes to bridging policy gaps, promoting coherence, and supporting the evolution of robust global governance mechanisms.
At the core of this work is a commitment to systemic development rooted in ethical principles, sound governance, and long-term societal resilience. By connecting research, policy design, and multilateral collaboration, GSI helps lay the groundwork for sustainable progress and a more equitable global future.

Global Intelligence is a research field dedicated to strengthening a sustainable global civil society. It examines how humanity’s collective knowledge, empathy, and capabilities can be mobilized to address global challenges such as climate change, poverty, and conflict. Drawing on concepts like global empathy, hierarchy-free superorganisations, swarm behaviour, and collective information processes, it identifies factors that strengthen or weaken global intelligence and derives practical recommendations to enhance cooperative, effective global action.
