Let's talk food: An ISA Alumni Panel at the Global Society Institute Hamburg

On 16 August, the ISA Alumni Network at the Global Society Institute in Hamburg, Germany, hosted an online panel discussion focused on ensuring food security by empowering vulnerable populations beyond reliance on external aid.

During the event, ISA alumni shared innovative strategies they have developed to combat hunger and reduce dependency on external assistance, directly supporting Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger.

Despite significant aid directed toward developing countries each year, challenges persist. This discussion highlighted how ISA Alumni members are making a tangible difference and explored opportunities to partner with the network to enhance the impact of these sustainable initiatives.

The event encouraged all participants, partners, and ISA alumni to share their experiences and ideas, fostering a collaborative environment for continued progress.

The ISA Alumni Network brings together ISA alumni into a collective of experts committed to sustaining the impact of their projects across various countries. The network promotes project success through collaborations, facilitates financial and technical partnerships, raises awareness of sustainable development goals, and provides essential skills and expertise to current ISA fellows.

Founded in 2021, the network supports the program’s growth by maintaining connections among past fellows, showcasing alumni projects, and collaborating with partners, investors, donors, and stakeholders. The ISA Alumni Network offers an interactive platform for past, present, and future fellows of the International Sustainability Academy.
