In November 2024 GSI White House had the pleasure of hosting the Anna Lindh Foundation Mobility For Partnership project, initiated by Strait Up and Challenge, two organizations dedicated to intercultural dialogue in the Mediterranean. The working group resulted in several joint projects that will network the partner associations Strait Up and Challenge, with GSI, other civil society actors in Europe and the Mediterranean, as well as universities. 

Already a youth exchange in Bulgaria brought together youth leaders from the Spanish and Palestinian groups with peers from Georgia and Bulgaria for a week long intercultural exchange based on the topic of “Authentic Relating” with the collaboration and support of "Solidarity Works” from Drugan Bulgaria. 

Next steps include bringing together academic experts in mediation to design a joint training program for professional mediators in both Israel and Palestine which joins them through a common language and mindset of mediation as a core to peacebuilding within and between communities. 

The working group is scheduled to continue the project at White House in April of 2026.
